Refund and Returns Policy

I want my artwork to find homes where it is welcome and enjoyed.

If for any reason the artwork you have selected doesn’t suit your home please contact me to organise a return for a full refund. I offer this up to 30 days after the purchase, I think it’s important to have a chance to live with an artwork, to see if it’s right for your home.

If you have bought my work through a gallery or store, please check with them about their returns policy as they may have different terms and conditions.

To receive a full refund, you’ll need to return the work in the same condition it was sold in. Once we have received it we will process the refund, using the same payment method you used for the purchase and will send you an email with an update. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us, if you need assistance to organise this or to organise returning a work in person. 

 

Make a return

To start a return, you can contact me at hello@lynnemaciver.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 3 Churchill Drive, Stornoway HS1 2NP, Isle of Lewis. 

If your return is accepted, I’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order when you receive it and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, specifically custom products (such as special orders or personalised items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
I will notify you once I’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
